Hello, everyone. I am Joji Oda from Genki Plaza Medical Center For Health Care Tokyo. It is a great honor for me to serve as the President of the 65th General Meeting of the Japanese Society of Gastrointestinal Cancer Screening, at JDDW 2027.

The theme of this meeting is " Aiming to improve the accuracy of Gastrointestinal cancer screening - What we can do now -". Low participation rates and low rates of follow-up testing for colorectal and gastric cancer are major concerns. With advances in diagnostic imaging, improved accuracy in the early diagnosis of pancreatic and biliary tract cancers is also anticipated, which is why we have chosen these two topics as our focus. We hope to discuss measures that can yield relatively immediate results.

Let's share our ideas for improving the accuracy of cancer screening and collectively consider together what we can do right now. We sincerely invite you to submit your abstracts and join us in large numbers in Kobe.
