Hello everyone. I am Kazuhiko Koike, the President of the Organization of Japan Digestive Disease Week (JDDW).

JDDW 2024 will be held at the Kobe Convention Center for four days from October 31st to November 3rd. As usual, there will be a 3-day general program and educational lectures on the 4th day. In principle, it will be held in a hybrid format, with on-site presentations, and on-demand listening is also possible.

In addition to presenting the latest research results on gastroenterology, the integrated program will include themes unique to JDDW that are common to gastroenterology, such as the merits and demerits of cancer genomic medicine and the future of gastrointestinal medical care that medical DX will open up.

We hope that many of you will visit Kobe, and that the JDDW conference will be a fulfilling one. We look forward to your participation.
