Hello everyone. I am Kazuhiko Koike, the President of the Organization of Japan Digestive Disease Week (JDDW).

JDDW 2026 will be held at the Kobe Convention Center from Thursday, November 5th to Saturday, November 7th. As usual, there will be a 3-day general program and educational lectures by e-learning from the 4th day. In principle, it will be held in a hybrid format, with on-site presentations, and on-demand listening is also possible.

In addition to the presentation of the latest research results in gastroenterology, the integrated program will feature themes unique to JDDW that are common to gastroenterology, such as "Future gastroenterological diagnosis and treatment resolved from big data", and "The evolution, and merits and demerits of minimally invasive treatments in gastroenterology".

We hope that many of you will visit Kobe, and that the JDDW conference will be a fulfilling one. We look forward to your participation.
