Precision medicine in IBD

I will review available strategies for personalization of medicine in inflammatory bowel disease. This includes the application of clinical decision support tools, biomarkers, genetics, and treat to target strategies. I will further discuss evolving considerations for modifying our current classification system for inflammatory bowel disease and the evolution towards endo typing subtypes of inflammatory bowel disease. I will discuss how the evolution in inflammatory bowel disease classifications may guide personalization of treatment selection.
