Post-ESD complications necessitate effective and efficient mucosal closure techniques. Current methods often present challenges related to procedural complexity and expense. We introduce the Easy & Eco Clip Over the Line Method (EOLM), a novel technique combining string clip suturing and the Reopenable clip Over the Line Method (ROLM). EOLM utilizes inexpensive EZ clip (Olympus, Japan) attached to nylon string for continuous suturing. The procedure involves sequentially placing clips on opposing edges of the mucosal defect, pulling the string to approximate the edges, and repeating until closure is complete. The string is then severed. EOLM facilitates closure of even large defects, offering a cost-effective alternative to existing methods. We present a case demonstrating the efficacy of EOLM, along with a review of 78 cases employing this technique. Further studies are warranted to assess long-term outcomes and compare EOLM to established techniques.
