Yeong Yeh LEE, MD, Ph.D., FACP, FRCP, FACG, FAMM, AGAF is Professor of Medicine and Consultant of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Internal Medicine of Universiti Sains Malaysia. He is editor of a number of journals including the Journal of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and the Malaysian Journal of Medical Sciences. He has published almost 300 papers in journals including Gastroenterology and Gut, and several book chapters and textbooks. JCI Malaysia awarded him the Outstanding Young Malaysian Award in 2015 and the Top Research Scientist of Malaysia by the Academy of Sciences Malaysia in 2018. He is current President of the Malaysian Society of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Past Scientific Chair of Asia Pacific Digestive Week (APDW) 2021, and is a committee member of numerous international societies.
